Well, we've been denied our permit until we can prove that the space above the garage won't be living quarters. Technically, it won't be because as code states, living quarters are defined as having a bedroom, bath, living space and an oven. Well, it's going to be Jason's office and we aren't putting in an oven, only a microwave. Hopefully that is enough to convince them to reissue the permit. Once they do that, then we can have the electrical inspected and then work can move forward.
