And then we got stoned...

Finally, finally, finally. We have stone on the water table of our house.
Here's a funny story: we got back from Greece eager to see the progress that had been done on the house. We drive up to the house and the stone on the water table looks good but something strange is going on with the columns. They are supposed to be pyramid shaped at the top and then rectangular to the bottom. Well, the bottom part requires a "box", but the box wasn't there. The stone guys decided to put stone on the poles of the column without the box. So- here we are, excited to see the house and there are these nice pyramid column tops with these ugly skinny poles that have stone stuck on them. It was very very sad.

Anyhow- everything else looks great! The tile is done, the electrical fixtures are almost done, the hardwoods are getting stained, the appliances are in... The grading has been done in the back and the front.

It is almost done- yay!
