THE POOL IS OPEN!!!

After several long years, I’m pleased to announce the pool is open.  (The rest of the basement will probably take 2 weeks.)

Amazingly, all the pieces were found, fit, and in good shape.  Our compliments to the Patterson parents for the donation.  The table is extremely well constructed and received compliments from the assembly company on the craftsmanship.  The slate pieces were double the thickness of current tables.  They even highlighted they used square bolts, which you do not see in construction.  The table was perfectly flat and did not require any adjustments.  A billiard ball would sit in the middle of the table without rolling even before adding the felt.  The table even came with a cover!
