Why we decided to build...

We spent about a year and a half working with our very patient real estate agent to find a house in the Atlanta area. What we discovered was that 1) anything in our price range didn't have enough of a yard 2) was too far of a drive for Amy or Jason 3) was made in the last 20 years and needed extensive renovations.

Driving one weekend with our realtor on our way to see a different place, we drove by our current lot and it was love at first sight... 8/10ths of an acre is a lot of space for Wrigley to chase squirrels! It is only a mile from our current house, is in walking distance from Historic Roswell (the only town not to be completely burned down in the Civil war), has 3 National parks and 2 city parks within a five mile radius.
